In most MEP consultancies, a large share of design hours goes to production work inside Revit: placing devices, drawing containment, sizing cables, drawing schematics, and reconciling schedules so they match the model. Endra moves that production into its own platform. Engineers start from the architect's model, set the design rules, and Endra computes device placement and routing, then produces drawings, 3D models, schematics, schedules, and calculations that are linked, so a change in one updates the rest.

Revit stays the delivery format. A Revit add-in (supporting Revit 2023 to 2026) imports Endra's placements and maps them to the firm's own families, and exports go out as RVT, IFC, DWG, or PDF. Electrical is the most developed discipline, formalized as Power Studio in September 2026, and the Planlabs acquisition is aimed at mechanical. Endra's named customers are large engineering consultancies across the UK, Europe, and North America.

For an evaluation, test it on a building type your team designs often and check three things: whether generated layouts follow your firm's design standards and local codes, how cleanly the Revit family mapping holds up, and how much engineer review each output needs.
