AI Navisworks Integration

Navisworks is the primary tool for construction coordination — bringing models from multiple disciplines together to detect clashes and visualize the construction sequence. "AI Navisworks integration" usually refers to making that coordination process smarter: triaging the thousands of raw clash results a federated model produces, and separating real coordination issues from modeling artifacts.

Nomic is not a Navisworks plugin and does not run inside Navisworks. What Nomic does instead is complementary: early, design-stage coordination checks on IFC models before a full Navisworks session is stood up. Upload the discipline models as IFC and the agent surfaces clash candidates — MEP routed through structure, missing openings, elements crossing levels — directly from the model data, alongside answers to coordination questions grounded in the drawings and specs.

For many teams the practical split is: lightweight AI model checks early and often during design, then formal Navisworks clash detection as the milestone gate. The early checks catch coordination problems while they are still cheap to fix, and reduce the noise that reaches the formal clash process.
