Built Digital SA brings together BIM and digital engineering professionals from across South Australia's built environment, from government asset owners to consultants and contractors. The 2026 conference runs for a full day at Adelaide Town Hall, with sessions from SA Water, Australian Naval Infrastructure, buildingSMART Australasia, GHD, Beca, and Architectus, followed by networking at Electra House.
Theodoros Galanos, Forward Deployed Engineer at Nomic, will present AI in Digital Construction: From Pilot to Live Projects in the afternoon program, from 3:05 to 3:25 PM. Before joining Nomic, Theo was Generative AI Group Leader at Aurecon and co-authored AEC-Bench, Nomic's open benchmark for AI agents on built-environment tasks.
The talk
Many firms have piloted AI. Fewer can point to what it changed on a live project, in hours, risk, or margin. Theo will share how Nomic customers took AI from pilot to live projects on drawings, specifications, and submittals, and how they measured the results.
Meet with us in Adelaide
If you are attending, book time with the Nomic team to talk through:
- How agents review drawings, submittals, and specs against project documents, with every finding pointing back to its source
- What it takes to move from a pilot to a live project, and what to measure along the way
- How we benchmark agents on drawing navigation, spec-drawing sync, and submittal review with AEC-Bench
