Today we're releasing an upgrade to the Atlas Analyst, our explainable data agent for analyzing unstructured text, PDFs, CSVs, images and embeddings.
Here are some highlights about the Atlas Analyst:
Atlas Analyst lets you simply ask questions about your data in plain language. It provides an explainable answer by automatically setting up a view of the data supporting the answer directly within Atlas—all within your browser. This means you can quickly understand complex datasets, validate insights by viewing the source data, and iterate on your analysis directly within the Atlas interface.
To answer your questions, the Analyst intelligently gathers relevant context by performing vector searches, text searches, and statistical queries across your data. It then synthesizes this information through analysis after the context has been retrieved. You can further refine the analysis by interactively selecting semantic regions of your data map, bringing more specific data into context.
The Analyst supports multi-turn conversations, enabling compare-and-contrast queries that require considering multiple data subsets for an accurate response. While complex queries might require several internal searches, the Analyst is designed to handle potential missteps and recover gracefully.
Unlike traditional data analysis tools, Atlas Analyst reasons through a plan to answer your question leveraging the interactive Atlas data map to surface relevant context. This allows you to see exactly where insights originate and explore the supporting data further.
Atlas Analyst works with all your existing Atlas maps. There's no need to reupload or reprocess your data.
All organizations now have a monthly allocation of advanced analysis queries as part of an Atlas account. Check our pricing page for details on your plan's allocation.
